Content: I needed to replace some placemats that were part of a set. The whole table setting consisted of eggplant colored ribbed placemat, printed beige silk placemat with beautiful screened printing of foliage (green and eggplant).. as well as linen printed napkins and solid eggplant cloth napkins. In each setting, the two napkins were fanned and held at the end with a braided antique gold napkin ring.
The set was gorgeous and I did not want to throw everything away, just because the ribbed eggplant colored placemats had been damaged during the move.
These replacement egglant ribbed placemats were PERFECT. The set is again complete and my table setting is gorgeous. Funny how one seemingly plain item can make or break an entire dining room table.

Content: I purchased these placemats for a wedding gift. I added the matching napkins and it was very well received. The mats are thicker than most mats - frankly I wanted to keep them for myself. I can't comment on washing the mats since I gave them as a gift. However, most mats do well with just wiping them off. Colors were bright and great for gifting when you do not know what color scheme the individual likes. You can't beat the price. Paid double that price at an upscale catalog for my own use.

Content: These mats were the absolutely perfect color I searched for all over the internet. They were impossible to find, and lo and behold, there they were! I'm very happy with them and wish I could find a matching tablecloth! They were delivered promptly, are a good size, and are washable to boot. What more could one ask for?
