    Editorial Reviews
    Amazon.com Product Description:
Always know what time it is. The Sony ICF-C318 Automatic Time Set Clock Radio with Dual Alarm has a 0.9" green LED display that is easily viewable from across the room, but takes up very little space on your nightstand. It hosts a number of features including automatic time set, automatic Daylight Savings Time adjustment, dual alarm, built-in calendar, AM/FM tuner and full power memory back up. The correct EST (Eastern Standard Time) has been preset at the factory, so just plug the clock in and adjust the time zone as necessary. Dual alarms with individual alarm indicators let you set two separate wake-up times with differing wake-up settings. In the case of a power interruption, the built-in Lithium battery maintains the correct time so when the power returns you don't have to re-set the clock.
    Product Description:
The correct EST (Eastern Standard Time) has been preset at the factory, so just plug the clock in and adjust the time zone as necessary. In the case of a power interruption, the built-in Lithium battery maintains the correct time so you don't have to re-set the clock. When Daylight Savings Time changes take place in the spring and fall each year, there is no need to adjust the clock because the built-in calendar recognizes the dates and automatically makes the proper time adjustments. Dual Alarms with Alarm Indicator permits two separate wake-up times with individual wake-up settings and confirms that the alarm has been activated to turn on at the pre-set time. Choose your own snooze time instead of being held captive by the short time intervals of other snooze times. Each press of the snooze button adds an additional 10 minutes to your total snooze time for up to a full hour of uninterrupted sleep. Content: I love this alarm clock. It's super easy to use and nice to look at. I like the fact that the buzzer volume isn't super loud. It's just loud enough to wake me up, but scare me awake. Love the fact it's inexpensive too. Get the alarm clock!
    Summary: Prefect

Content: I purchased this clock based on the good reviews. The clock and all its features worked great for about two weeks. Then, lines in the display numbers started to disappear one by one until the time was no longer legible or visible. All other features still work fine. I'm not willing to spend $ on replacing a lithium battery "just in case" that is the source of the problem. I'd rather purchase a different clock locally. I'm really disappointed with this purchase.
    Summary: Poor quality clock

Content: I like the clock just fine. The battery backup was DOA. So, plan to purchase an extra battery when you get it. Sony Lithium 3V Batteries Size CR2016 (Pack of 5) I think this is the right battery link.
    Summary: Good Clock Small Battery

Content: I purchased 3 of these (2 black, 1 white), and they work great. You can set the dual alarms to either radio or buzz. I've tried both, & it woke me & my other family members up, no problem. The radio plays just fine - on alarm setting, you can make it as loud as you want. The buzzer just has a hi/lo setting. We all get very good reception with the radio - I did read in the instructions that the electrical cord also serves as the antennae. So for those having problems with reception, make sure the cord is unraveled all the way. The numbers are nice & large, & there are 3 settings for brightness. I wish the buttons on top were bigger or more distinct - especially the one for turning off the alarm after waking you up. A couple of reviewers said it was really big, but it isn't - it's normal size. They have the clocks at Best Buy & Target for a higher price, but go there to see it for yourself. Also, one of the clock's batteries was dead.
Overall, I'd recommend the clock, it works just fine.
    Summary: Very Good Alarm Clock/Radio

Content: Small size, light weight, and fine dual alarm. Only problem I faced is when tuning the radio. Most of the stations get mixed up and aren't that clear. They shouldn't have had the antenna inside the wire and the wire needs to be stretched out always, so it may not be feasible depending on how and where you keep the device. Also for the radio to function properly, it needs to be away from cell phones and other such devices that may cause interference. I faced no such problem with the radio when I had a Radioshack alarm clock which I bought for 14 $. Only problem was that it was a little larger and slightly heavier.
Summary: Good alarm clock, but radio sucks
