Rating - 5 Date: 2008-11-27 Content: My son who's 8yrs old, saw this Omnitrix somewhere - maybe at a friends house, and asked for one. I naturally said no, since I had no idea what an Omnitrix was. I could tell he was laser focused on it when he asked if he could buy it for himself with his own money. No luck at the local Target, so we checked Amazon. Sure enough, we found out. The reviews were a great help. Other parents reported that it was a great "imagination" toy - not just another video game. And sure enough he's had hours and hours of non-video game fun running around the house and transforming himself into various aliens. It makes electonic noises (relatively quiet) and flashes red and green lights, but only as a prop for imagination play. It's a little loose on his skinny, 8yr old wrist, and he often has to ask for help to put it on, but other than that it's been a great toy for him. Summary: Great Fun for an 8year old boy
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-11-17 Content: My [...] son loves this toy, looks just like the watch Ben-10 wears and is very durable. It makes loads of cool noises and is great fun for role play. He used it for his Halloween costume and it continues to be one of his favorite toys. Slightly tricky to get on at first, but if you pull down on the strap and ease the rubber grips in place you'll get it. Would be even better if it had a real watch underneath, but still pretty cool. Summary: Fun Ben 10 toy!
Rating - 4 Date: 2008-11-16 Content: While adults may find this watch silly, useless, or not of great value, my 2 boys love this watch and play with it all the time. This particular Ben 10 watch is not made anymore and hard to find, but it's definitely the best out of all the Ben 10 watches made.
It'll be a hit! Buy it! Summary: My boys LOVE this watch - it's the best out of alll of the Ben 10 watches!
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-11-02 Content: My whole family watches Ben 10 and Ben 10 Alien Force (that one is my personal fave lol). Never the less my eldest (he's 7) loves Ben 10 so this was the perfect toy to get for him for his birthday! The sounds are right out of the show and it is the same size that Ben wears on the show so that really tickled my kid! I gave the educational value one star because while it allows your kid to run and play it doesn't teach anything about imagination (at least for my child. He just played "Ben" and the aliens!). He loves it though and has great fun with it! It is well worth the cost! Summary: Great Show Great Toy!
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-10-17 Content: I bought one of these for my little brother (he's almost 6). He loves this kind of stuff. In fact, if it has Ben 10 or Iron Man on it, he'll pretty much love anything you give him. In fact, he wants to build a working model when he grows up! Right after he builds a working megazord. Aren't kids great?
This toy looks more or less like the Omnitrix from the show. At least, as close as they were able to make it for the toy. The only real disappointment is that you get the same sound set for every single alien you dial to. However, I will not dock any points for this as it doesn't seem to impair my brother's sense of fun with the toy.
Overall, if you are looking to buy an Omnitrix, this is the one to buy. It lights up, makes noise, has a movably dial, and the face itself can pop up and down at the push of a button. Everything is to show standards, more or less.
Definately reccomended for Ben fans.
-Matt
Summary: A fun, if repetitive Omnitrix
