Content: This product delivers all that you expect out of it. the keyboard is great, and the extra USB options really help out a lot. It also gives your notebook a good position so you don't have any neck pains.
I had one basic issue with the Alto, that the USB ports don't get enough power supply to charge your devices like music players. For that you need to connect it to a power supply by an adaptor which has to be purchased. SO all in all I would recommend it, but want to tell you that you have to charge your ipod from your notebook USB.
Summary: Great product with one basic flaw.

Content: This was a great buy. Though the product description says it is portable...it is pretty bulky and won't fit in many snug laptop bags. Otherwise, I find the keyboard great and my laptop doesn't seem to overheat even though the vertical support of the stand has no vents, there is a gap between the laptop and the vertical support. I can also rest a book/paper I am using against the laptop keyboard making it convenient to read and type notes.
I am very satisfied. Users who only use the touch-pad of their laptop will have to buy a mouse since the angle of the touch-pad becomes too awkward for use.
Summary: Great product. Mouse is needed as well

Content: Pros: keyboard is very resilient (saves your keyboard and touchpad), intuitive interface, media buttons, convenient USB ports, raises screen to a nice height, quick disconnect, folds up easily.
Cons: extreme dust magnet, USB mouse sold separately, laptop slips off stand in warm weather, takes up a lot of desk space.

Content: Read the reviews before purchasing locally. My friend also has one which he let me use for a day, before I bought it. He, like most people have smaller laptops and it works excellent. I have a behemoth Alienware 17" Area 51 M9750 weighing in at close to 9 lbs. Of course the Alto matches my rubberized stealth AW, so I wanted it. I only worried about the stability. People said it was flimsy, just not true, it is all in how they use it. I purchased this for my work desk and occasional trips. I also purchased another for my home desk. On a flat surface, it is extremely stabile, there are no computers falling down and I shook my 9 lb beast it is strong. I bought it, knowing before hand, I would lose use of my front loading dvd on my aw, but for the times I need it, I will lift it slightly until it is in. I also knew that unfortunately, because my computer is so heavy, I cannot use the keyboard riser. I will not take a star away for this as 90% of the people buying it, including my buddy use it with no problem. I knew all this and still bought it. I have plenty of USB, so whether it powers my ipod or electric devices is not a concern of mine. It simply looks gorgeous, brings my computer to an eye level height on my desk, I exclusively use a Logitech Nano at all times, I detest using the touchpad for a lot of working. It works fine, if you use it like I do, if you toss it all over the place, back and forth, it may be less stabile, but I do not and the stability is excellent. I highly reccomend this and the Logitech Nano. Hope the review helps others to make their decision, I read the reviews all the time.
