Content: I purchased these towels after much searching and decided to take a gamble since there were mixed reviews. Big mistake. I received them today and washed them as per the directions prior to first use and now they are in tatters. The stitching along them hem was very poorly done and came apart requiring me to trim loose threads. Also the color completely faded even with being washed in cold water with color guard detergent. They look like I have had them for years and I haven't even used them yet. Waste of money and now my husband can tell me I told you so. =(

Content: We have bought several sets of these towels over the past year and must say that we are REALLY happy. The towels are SOFT and absorbant. I am always looking for soft towels.....so when I saw the egyptian cotton set at a fabulous price I figured I would give them a shot. I am so glad I did. How can you go wrong? After all the washes this past year, mine are still going strong and getting softer. No shredding, no color problems... If they happen to fall apart one day, I will buy them again. Why? Because they get the job done, are ultra soft and an excellent bargain.

Content: I was a little unhappy when the towels arrived. Brick is more maroon. Also they are not as soft as EGYPTIAN cotton from retail stores. Sorry Amazon.
