Includes power and volume controls. Attaches easily to any crib. Requires 4 "C" (LR14) alkaline batteries (not included). Measures 9.5" x 3.75" x 9.75". Amazon.com Product Reviews:
Attach the Fisher-Price Rainforest Waterfall Peek-a-Boo Soother to baby's crib and use the critters and sounds of the rainforest to put baby in blissful slumber. The three modes are handy whether using the six minute music, lights, and bubbles setting, the 12 minute music and lights setting, or the 18 minute music only setting. The last is a coup for those putting baby back to sleep in the middle of the night. Each mode has three musical settings: rainforest sounds and classical music, rainforest and lullaby, and merely the sounds of the jungle. The three volume settings are useful, though it would be nice to have a daytime and nighttime setting for the lights, as they can be a bit bright. The special effects aren't Hollywood, but the smiling simian on the vine, the waterfall effect, and the peek-a-boo frog will have babies enthralled. Four C batteries are necessary, but not included. Recommended age is birth and up. --Scott Teal

Rating - 4 Date: 2008-12-01 Content: Don't do what I did. When you take this out of the box and begin unpacking there will be two green straps that you will naturally mistake as some fastener holding the product in the box. It isn't. It's the straps that hold the device to the crib. After cutting one of mine I wound up needing to fabricate one of my own(PAIN!). What is it with the way stuff is packaged these days?? Do packaging engineers get off frustrating purchasers of their products who want to just simply open a box and use it??? O.K., rant off... I've only had this soother for a couple weeks, but so far I love it. The thing I like most is the colors; they're very rich and vivid. The music isn't bad(won't drive you nuts) and the movement of the animals is smooth. Battery life is O.K. so far(haven't needed replacement). All-in-all, short of the packaging, I would say this is a well assembled, well designed, quality item. Summary: WHEN UNPACKAGING, DON'T CUT THE GREEN STRAPS!!!
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-11-20 Content: Of all the toys my son has had this has lasted the longest (he is 2 now) and it is wonderful. It is the only toy that has made the switch to his big boy bed. This toy is very relaxing too so you have to be careful watching it. Summary: Fantastic Crib Toy

Rating - 5 Date: 2008-10-11 Content: My son got this for Christmas last year when he was 9 months old. He loves it!! He is now 18 months and still loves it! My daughter who is 3 also liked it so much we considered getting her one as well. One of the things I like so much about this soother is that it had the longest time setting of 18 minutes! My son learned quickly how to hit the button himself to turn it on which is nice! The music is great, the animals move, and it has nature sounds too. The blue light background is bright but my son dosent mind and if you want you can change the settings so the light is off. I highly recommend it!! Summary: Great Soother!
Rating - 4 Date: 2008-10-03 Content: The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because I feel there isn't enough variety of music. I am spoiled by the Ocean Wonders, but my daughter doesn't seem to mind. We originally bought this for the baby we are expecting, but then to bribe my daughter to sleep in her "big girl" bed, we told her that she could have the monkey music box if she made the switch. It worked! We attached it to the headboard so she can tap it for light or entertainment. LOVE the fact that the battery compartment is incorporated into the music box so she can bash it all she wants and the compartment won't come loose (like on our Ocean Wonders). LOVE the fact that without lights and motion music will last 18 MINUTES!! Glad we bought it! Highly recommend. Summary: Soothes all ages
