Rating - 1 Date: 2008-11-16 Content: In a country obsessed with safety this is a product remarkable by the lack of it. If you one forgets to put the lever on the draining oil position, you will have about 12 cups of oil all over your kitchen. The oil leaks as soon as you one place it in the fryer. Very poor materialization of a good idea. I bought it thinking that the draining of the oil in a container would avoid the mess. Once again, do not buy this product, unless you want reasons to try new cleaning products and keep the economy going!!! Summary: Do not buy it!!!!
Rating - 1 Date: 2008-11-12 Content: Oil leaked all over the counter and has flimsy metal. What a waste for something with such a good ideal(oil dranage/storage container ).Would not recommend! Summary: junk
Rating - 3 Date: 2008-10-26 Content: How do you get a hang of this thing? What a mess!!! It fries very good but clean up?!!! We spent the last 2 hours cleaning up a mess it left all over the place!!! I waited 3 hours as suggested and flipped the switch to filter the oil. It is a good thing I did not go to bed. Half of the oil was on the counter top in no time me and my husband spent almost 2 hours and a roll of paper towels to clean up an oil spill. I heard something about a problem with an oil drainage, but I did not think it was going to be this bad!!! Emerylware practically destroyed my kitchen! now What? Summary: huge mess
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-10-25 Content: It's so much easier to clean than a regular fryer, and the ability to drain and store the oil in the bottom of the appliance is a wonderful advancement. It has a timer, which is a great feature, though you can only count in minutes and not seconds. It also beeps when it comes up to temperature. The only two cons we've found: the sides get very hot (remember not to touch those sides) and the plug, though it doesn't fall out of the fryer, is not quite as secure as we'd like (you don't push the plug in so it fits tightly, it's more a magnetized connection).
All in all, my family and I find this to be the best fryer we've owned, the food comes out great, the basket holds a decent amount of food and we would highly recommend it. Summary: Excellent
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-09-25 Content: I bought this fryer a couple of days ago, and Im very pleased. I think it works great, it is better and smarter than any other fryer that you can find out there in the market. Now what we need is that people in the business get smarter and build better ones. Oh , well that's life. Buy yourself another. Enjoy it. Summary: I'll Give It a 100% - Nothing is Perfect but this Big Guy works Great
