Customer Reviews Average rating - 5.0
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-11-11 Content: great product, shoots great easy to adjust depth. Nails through oak as if it were pine. Summary: Hitachi Brad Nailer
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-10-14 Content: I am very pleased with this nailer. I've had it two months now and have used it for baseboard and trim work in our basement that I am finishing as well as odd projects in my shop. So far, no jambs. I really like being able to go up to 2" brads if needed. I only wonder why I waited so long to purchase one. Summary: Great little nailer
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-09-08 Content: As a homeowner and not a contractor, I can not comment on the durabiliy of this nailer, or how many mis-fires I had every thousand nails. I had some finish work I was doing when I ordered this item and it worked flawless. It is light and good quality, I was nailing 2" brads into Oak and it was excellent. For the do it yourselfer, this is a great product at a reasonable price. Summary: Just what I was looking for
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-07-01 Content: Bang for your buck, this thing is awesome! Nice features and controls, a full 2" capacity and very light weight. I particularly like the no tool jamb clearing (although I have yet to have a jam with Senco and Porter Cable brads), no trigger change to go from bump fire to sequential fire mode, 360 degree movable exhaust port and quick depth of drive changes. It even comes with a air hose fitting!
At this price, I wish I had purchase one a long time ago! Summary: You can't go wrong!
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-04-28 Content: I bought this nailer to replace my 16 gauge Campbell-Hausfield nailer (I used it for trim, and 18 gauge works just as well but leaves smaller holes).
Well, I got a deal on the aforementioned nailer, and it served it's purpose well...this being said, am I glad I bought this new Hitachi nailer! It is about 4 times as light, and works like a champ. It is super easy to load (but don't read the instructions, they advised upside down loading?!), just load it the way that makes sense. Adjusting the nail depth can be made with the same hand holding the gun, with your index finger (I found reviews saying this was difficult, I found it easy and frees up your other hand). It has yet to jam on me. I add oil fairly frequently, so hopefully it lasts a long time.
I have a hard time imagining what another nailer may offer better than what this one has, so for the money, you can't go wrong. Summary: Hitachi Nails It!
