Rating - 5 Date: 2008-11-14 Content: I was wary given the other reviews, but couldn't resist the incredibly low price per ounce of down filling. It was warm to begin with, but a day or so later it had expanded and filled its shell, and holds even a flannel duvet cover high and full. It is instantly warm and keeps body warmth even after a late night trip to kitchen or bathroom. No signs of shedding. It is second only to my top of the line name brand comforter and I am very happy with the value and quality. Summary: Fluffy, puffy and luxuriously warm

Rating - 4 Date: 2008-09-03 Content: I recently purchased the Royal Velvet Heritage European white goose down comforter. I had been looking at many comforters and finally decided upon this one. I've had about a week or two to sleep with it and lay around with it and it's quite comfortable. It doesn't appear too thick or too thin. For now it seems just right. I'm not sure how warm it will be during the cold New England winters but from the experience I've had with it so far with my freezing A/C on at night, it appears that it will be plenty warm enough. I think this is a great comforter for the money and I would recommend it to other people. Summary: Good Affordable Comforter
Rating - 1 Date: 2007-07-27 Content: At first I was very happy with this comforter. It is very comfortable, but after only a short time it started to leak badly. I have had cheap comforters leak before, but never expected it from one this expensive and with a high thread count. It constantly sheds feathers and feather dust. Summary: Falls short
