Rating - 1 Date: 2008-09-06 Content: I did not purchase this item from Amazon, however I used the item for about a month maybe 4 times a week. After a month it did not work and I threw it out. Went back to my old kitchenaid screw with handles to remove cork. Great idea but like a lot of things in this world not substanial enough Summary: not long lasting
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-09-06 Content: Works great no problems what so ever. Very hand to have around. Takes the effort out of opening a bottle. Summary: Great Wine Opener
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-09-05 Content: I will admit I had some trouble using this at first because I was so impatient to get to my wine. Once I learned to wait for the unit to do its thing, I had to do nothing else. I was so accustomed to having to put in some kind of struggle to get my corks out, I was in a bit of disbelief. Now that I have used this opener a few more times, it has become so easy to operate. Push down on the switch until you hear the cork pop out. Then push up on the switch to get the cork released. Just make sure that before you start, you center the screw to the middle of the cork as much as possible because there is a little bit of wiggle room. This will help prevent your cork from fragmenting on the outer areas, as some people have experienced. Summary: Fast and easy
Rating - 1 Date: 2008-08-31 Content: I've had this product for a year now and I haven't used it much because it's so frustrating to use. I always have to repeat the process because the cork does not come out the first time. You need lessons on the proper way to use it I guess. It's not worth the money! You're better off with the good 'ol cork screw!! It's more reliable! Summary: Not Satisfied!
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-08-30 Content: Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RIZ08U6I1VB06 This is my first video review of a product, and the very first time I used this product. It's a simple product to use, and works well. Summary: What a great product! Will save me time and strain on my hand.
