Customer Reviews Average rating - 5.0
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-10-11 Content: My 3 year old daughter loves the Melissa and Doug floor puzzles and this one is no exception. She loves all the animals in this safari puzzle. We also have "farm friends", "Dinosaurs" and "Under the Sea". I would recommend them all. She can do "farm friends" and "dinosaurs" completely by herself, and can almost do "Under the sea".
I think the puzzles have many lessons to teach them. I like that she has to learn patience and to work through a task to achieve her goal...it's not instant gratification. Having said that she feels a great sense of accomplishment once it is completed.
I also feel these puzzles are very durable as we set them up on the floor and they get walked on all the time. Summary: Love this puzzle
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-08-08 Content: My 3 year old likes working on this puzzle with me. Sometimes his attention span is not quite long enough to finish it before he becomes distracted. The 48 pieces are well within his span of time, but the 100 is usually just outside of it. I recommend having both sizes on hand as the 48 pieces go too fast when he wants me to work them with him. The pieces easily resist both my 3 year old and my 1 year old crawling on them and chewing on them before I get them away from her. Summary: not an M&D puzzle we have not liked yet
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-07-06 Content: I bought three of these puzzles for my three year old son. He absolutely loves them. The pieces are a great size and the picture has a lot going on. This was a great purchase. Summary: Lots of Fun!
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-06-25 Content: We have a 5-year old and a 4-year old, so finding games, puzzles and activities that the whole family can enjoy together is very important to us. This floor puzzle is large enough we can all enjoy it together.
We own more than 25 jigsaw puzzles, including 4 floor puzzles from Melissa and Doug. This 100-piece puzzle is large, so it is easy for both of our children to handle the pieces.
Of all the jigsaw puzzles we own, Melissa and Doug puzzles are the most durable. Summary: Two boys' review: Animaltastic floor puzzle for the whole family
Rating - 4 Date: 2008-05-02 Content: My kids love putting this puzzle together, as with all puzzles from Melissa and Doug. Just challenging enough for my 5 and 7 year olds. I would recommend this puzzle to anyone with kids 8 and under. Summary: Awesome !!
