    Amazon.com Product Description:
Cruise around the neighborhood in style with the Razor E200 electric scooter. Boasting an adjustable handlebar that adapts to riders of all sizes, an ultra-quiet chain-driven motor, and a handy twist-grip throttle accelerator, the E200 is the perfect device for teens and adults wanting to speed over to a friend's house or head to the park. Unlike Razor's E300S and E500S scooters--which offers a seated ride--the E200 requires you to stand while zipping through town. But standing in the E200 isn't a problem thanks to the full-size deck and frame, which are custom designed for ages 12 and up. Once you're on the move, the variable-speed motor ramps up to 12 miles per hour--fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk.

The long-life rechargeable battery, meanwhile, lasts for up to 45 minutes of continuous use per charge (with an eight-hour charge time), so you can easily cruise to the grocery store and back without running out of juice. Other details include 8-inch pneumatic tires for a smooth ride, a hand-operated rear brake, and such accessories as a pair of 12-volt batteries, a charger, and tools. The E200, which offers a maximum weight limit of 220 pounds, is backed by a 90-day warranty.

The buyer and rider of the E200 scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters.

Customer Reviews Average rating - 4.0

Content: Lots of fun - just what he wanted. Works as expected and seems really sturdy (it's pretty heavy!).

    Summary: Razor electric scooter

    Rating - 5 Date: 2008-12-17
Content: My son received this scooter for his 11th birthday, and loves it. He hasn't gotten to ride it for very long stretches at a time since it's winter, but he can't wait to ride it for as long as possible right now.
So far, there hasn't been any problems with the scooter. I went back and forth about which scooter to get him because he's on the small side, but he does well with it, and it should last him a long time because of the bigger weight limit.
    Summary: Fun scooter

    Rating - 5 Date: 2008-11-19
Content: We purchased this scooter as birthday gift for a 12 year old boy. It is fast, sturdy and has great run time. He has a giant grin on his face each time that he rides it. We were initially uncertain about how much he would use it, but he's on it every dry day. Concerned about exercise? While one boy rides, the others chase him up the street and then they swap places. There's still plenty of running around going on... and they're outside.
    Summary: great buy

Content: I love Razor's custumer service, they shipped me a great performing scooter for no cost because of a past recall. When I got the scooter I was impressed with it. I bought the same scooter 4 years ago and it broke but Razor's quailty went up,Great work. After opening up the package Razor even lets the customer use the scooter right away. The accleration speed and battery life greatly improved. Thank you Razor!!
Summary: Has a Kick to it!!

    Rating - 3 Date: 2008-07-09
Content: The scooter is good, works fine, good battery life and stable but with someone even close to the rated load it has inadequate clearance between the ground and the motor. I got this one for my wife the 100 for my child (she loves it) and the 300 for me. Just driving around the neighborhood and hitting little dips in the road on the 200 will cause the motor to hit the street very hard. The 100 has a solid wheel so even though the clearance is low it does not suffer the same fate. If you are going to get a bigger scooter than the 100 then go for the 300, the clearance issue is much improved for that model.
    Summary: good but not great
