Content: I have a 2008 Prius without any sort of roof rack. I purchased the 15 cu. ft. Roof Bag and installed it with no real issues. Then it started to rain--the straps soak up the water and transport it to the interior of the car, where it drips all over the seats. This is completely unacceptable! To add insult to injury, I can't get in touch with their customer service department. The recording either states their business hours (which I called well within) or that all their representatives are busy, then asks you to leave a message, and that's it.
Summary: Are you kidding me? The straps aren't waterproof?

Content: I bought this one for my family vacation from PA to outer bank, NC. It works great.
    Summary: good pruduct, great price

Content: Bought this cargo bag for Burning Man. The picture (I think) is a little decieving. It didnt hold as much as I hoped, but did hold 2 large tents, a camping tarp and 2 small duffle bags. The straps fit securely around my Jeep Grand Cherokee stock roof rack. I would recommend this product - especially for the price - but take the lack of storage space into consideration if you're expecting to stuff a ton of property into it!
Summary: Good cargo bag - roomy, but not huge.

Content: We bought this bag in order to make a trip from Sacramento to Portland in August in a 1995 Honda Accord that had a Yakima roof rack on it. The bag worked fine and held a lot of baggage. We strapped the bag to the roof rack bars. Ideally we should've placed some of the straps to the side of the bag in addition to front&back - but we didn't have anything to strap to on the sides. So we pulled those straps to the forward and back bars too.

The bag didn't budge on the whole trip. We didn't encounter rain, so I can't comment on how water tight the bag is. We were prepared to wrap our luggage with trashbags if necessary (and them put them in the roof top bag), but didn't end up doing that.
Summary: Bag worked fine from Sacramento to Portland

Content: I bought this rooftop carrier in a hurry for a 1000 mile trip. I have a Subaru Forester, the luggage rack has a raised front and back rail, but the siderails are flush. The instructions that came with it said it will 'not work if the siderails are not raised'. Well guess what, it worked. I just tied the sidestraps to the inside side door ceiling handles. I saw someone else using one that strapped the sidestraps to the front rail. So it can be done.
I was concerned about rain from some other reviews I'd seen, but I didn't run into any so it wasn't an issue.
Seems to be a good product for the price!
    Summary: Works for Me!
