    Editorial Reviews
    Product Description:
The ultimate creativity toy! Original Colorforms will provide you with limitless possibilities. Designers, teachers, and toy collectors alike agree- this is the best creativity play set they've found. An exact replica of the Colorforms Set that launched the company in 1951-it was recently selected for the Toy Hall of Fame. Includes 350 brightly colored shapes in an elegant, spiral-bound book and case. The Colorforms easily attach to any glossy surface, or to one another, by applying slight pressure across the surface of each piece. A 2002 Parents' Choice Classic Award Winner.

Content: Bought this as a gift for grandson. It's educational and yet enjoyable. My children enjoyed this and I know my grandson will.
    Summary: Children's Enjoyment

Content: I am a little disappointed with this toy, which I bought for my 3 year old. She loves playing with the shapes. However, the pieces did not stick well to the black cardboard at all. I saw this in another review so perhaps I will call the manufacturer. The spiral bound book also fell apart literally on the first use. I am surprised it was not better constructed.
    Summary: Disappointed!

Content: I was there when the first edition was released. It was magical then and when I opened the very attractive box of my new version, it was magic all over again. No guidelines, two background boards, bright basic primary colored shapes; it's tantamount to having a nice building block set in your lap. Use on mirrors, windows, and other smooth glass-like surfaces to unleash new energies. It would be even more fun to have extra colorform pages from which to cut one's own shapes. I rate my Colorforms with an A+.
    Summary: Limitless creative value

Content: The first day was fun for my 4 yr old. He does not like to clean up - ya, ya, I Know he should... so we have started to loose the smaller pieces. Now, he finds it difficult to pick the smaller pieces and always wants company when he does this. Infact, my 10 year old does get carried away with this toy. This set should have more project pictures. I bought three and will pass them on as birthday gifts.
Summary: Great for a creative kid!

    Rating - 4 Date: 2008-03-21
Content: Got it for our two year old...probably not ready for it yet, so we are putting it away until her imagination and dexterity increases.
Summary: Good, but 2 year old too young
