Content: I got tired of paying $30 per bit for 3/4in bit so I bought the DD750x, howver the grinding wheel lasted only 3 bits. Still cheaper than buying new large bits. Its probalby ok for small bits but not going to save you a ton of money as you will have to keep replacing the grinding wheels

Content: I build small furniture mostly out of oak. I have been buying new bits for every project I take on. The oak would eat up the bits in no time and start splintering the wood around the hole. I spent anywhere from $2 - $10 for a new bit every time. I thought that there had to be a better way. I found this online and figured I would try it. My wife bought me one for Christmas before I could buy it. I begged her into giving it to me early and just sharpened my first bit with it. I put a few holes into a scrap piece of oak. No splinters. The bit made an extremely clean cut. Better than a new bit, as a matter of fact. This is a must buy for anyone working with hardwoods.
