Content: I have owned this snow-brush for several years. My main usage is the ice scraper part of it. For light over-night frost buildup, this tool is sufficient. But this is definitely the wrong tool for light and thin ice (not even heavy ice) buildup on the windshield. First, the front edge of the ice scraper has hard time to grap onto the light thin ice. Secondly, the plastic ice scraper can not sustain heavy scarping work. My ice scraper got broken while trying to remove some light thin ice.
For think ice on the windshield, don't even think about using this tool.
You pay with what you get. Now I am looking for more heavy duty ice scraper.
Summary: Thin frost is OK. But useless on ice.

Content: Bought this brush for my girlfriend who wanted something smaller, something more "her size", and something more compact to brush the snow away from her vehicle. Works great and does the job efficently every time!

Content: This scraper/brush was exactly what I was looking for to replace a similar scraper that finally broke after years of use. Works great so far. Brush is effective at removing ice scrapings as well as light snow. Great scraper for the price.

Content: This is an excellent snow brush made by Hopkins Manufacturing Company (Hoppy). It's easy to hold onto to get snow and ice off the windows of your vehicle and as long as the ice isn't very thickly caked onto the glass of your vehicle this does a fine job.
The snowbrush comes as both an ice scraper and a brush to remove snow. Both of these features work best after a snowfall that is lighter and/or wetter. If there's six inches of snow and ice on your windshield, turn on the motor and while using this brush let the heat of the car help to melt the snow and ice away.
It is mostly made of plastic; and as another reviewer notes the ice scraper could break if you apply too much pressure to it. However, unless you break it so badly that it just can't be used anymore the ice scraper will still be useful to you.
If your arms are too short to reach the middle of the windshield just do your best to clear away as much as you can. Don't drive if there are large areas of your windshield, side and rear windows that cannot be cleared.
The ice scraper and snow brush are constructed very well so this should last you a long while.
Overall, this is a fine ice scraper/snowbrush combination by Hoppy. I highly recommend it.

Content: It is as good as I expected it to be and for the best price I could find. Even cheaper than at the store! Also it is small and thin so you can just hide it in the car and remember it only when you need it.
