Customer Reviews Average rating - 4.0
Rating - 4 Date: 2008-11-28 Content: While it seems to be a bit pricey to me, the Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter is easy to install. Snap it into place, plug in the USB connector, and you are ready to go. I have not tried any other wireless adapters for the Xbox 360, so I cannot say if it's worth it to pay this much for wireless connectivity. I was hoping to avoid any hassles and decided to go with a Microsoft brand peripheral for a Microsoft brand console, and was glad to see that it worked as expected.
Summary: Snap 'n' Play!
Rating - 3 Date: 2008-11-26 Content: Works ok most of the time, but can cause laggyness during online game play.
Seems to not startup with the new xbox experience. Summary: Wireless
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-11-23 Content: I was a little nerves buying this product since I have a Mac and I'm running an Airport Extreme. But to my surprise as soon as I plugged it to my 360 and turned it on. It found my network with no problem. It asked for the network password and the rest is history. I'm in xbox live heaven. Summary: A MUST HAVE FOR ALL XBOX 360 USERS
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-11-23 Content: This was a plus since I couldn't attach a long ethernet cable for the 360 and wireless was the only option for me. But I do plan on getting wired since I do notice a little bit of lag with wireless connection.
But otherwise, a great official product from MS that works perfect. Summary: Play conveniently
Rating - 2 Date: 2008-11-16 Content: I'll admit it works beautifully and easily-- when it works, that is.
Before you purchase this, do an online search in google or something and check out the problems people have with this.
After one year of buying this, it stopped working. It simply stopped working. I looked online to see if maybe there is a way to fix this. I was amazed at how many people also had the same problem as me. For such a price, one would expect this adapter to last a little bit longer than one year.
An alternative to this adapter is to buy an easy access point and an ethernet cable. That should cost less than half the price of this adapter.
Some people are lucky I guess, but I was not. Do some research first, though. Summary: Defective- Be careful
