Customer Reviews Average rating - 4.5

Content: Overall this controller is great, but it has two problems.

    1. D-pad is basically a D-pad on an analog stick. Because of this if you slide your thumb from right to down you may actually go left, which could be a problem in some games. If you lift your thumb to press a different direction then the detection of your desired direction is more accurate. Doesn't ruin the controller, but it takes getting used to.

    2. The shoulder buttons in the back (L&R triggers) aren't actually buttons but are mapped to the Z-Axis. The main problem with this is that if you press down both buttons only one of them registers as an action. This is because you can't be on the postive and negative side of the Z-axis at the same time, just like you can't press up and down or left and right together at the same time. There is another pair of shoulder buttons and they work just as regular BUTTONS but it sucks that you can't use the back ones like you would want.

Other than that it's a great controller. Comfortable, long cord, and you just plug it in and play.

Summary: Definitely one of the better controllers you can get

Content: Comfortable, attractive, offset joysticks... this is a microsoft product?

Since the original Xbox, the Duke evolved into the smaller S, which continued to be refined into the modern 360 controller.

Each iteration improved upon the last, and it shows.

I like the wired 360 controller more than the wireless for 3 reasons.

First, there's no need to worry about batteries or recharging anything.

Second, the battery pack on the wireless 360 controller located on the bottom of the gamepad interferes with finger placement, which is sad.

third, the wireless controller is much heavier than the wired, depending on your preference, keep in mind that the wired controller is also much lighter.
Summary: The best gaming controller ever made

Content: This controller is better than the Xbox 360 wireless(though it's excellent) to me b/c it:
is much lighter without the battery back
long enough cord for me(32inch TV)
    very ergonomic
can be used to play on the computer(since it's USB)
    5*'s!
Summary: Best Controller I have ever played with

Content: Had to get this when I found out that Assasins Creed is not compatible with Logitech's Wingman Rumble pad version 1. Connected it to my Vista PC and was immediately recognized and Windows Update installed the drivers. I went a bit further and installed the program for it also. The only thing I found kind of weak is the rumble feature. My old Wingman packed more punch for the rumbling feature. Outside of that, the controller works great on Assasins Creed and Tomb Raider Anniversary. I chose the corded version due to price and hating to keep charging batteries. The cord is super long. Too long for my applicaiton, but I took the excess and coiled it back up the way it came out of the package. If you see games that have the "Games for Windows" on the box, they are guaranteed work with this controller. Assasins Creed does not have that, but the specs behind the box say so. Would have been nice if it were available in black. I know the cordless is available in black. At any rate, if you need a gamepad or replace your noncompatible Wingman, get this. You'll enjoy it.
Summary: Very Nice Investment for PC Users

Content: I love this controller. It worked perfectly with my PC. I connected it and it was recognized and it worked right off the bat. Plays games like Devil May Cry 4 and Dead space like a champ. Lets me play the games like they were supposed to be played, but without having to invest in an Xbox360.

Comfort: I love it. The Xbox360 controller has to be one of the most ergonomic controllers out on the market right now. It fits perfectly in your hands and they don't cramp after hours of playing. Button placement is intuitive and is way better than the keyboard for a lot of games.

Usability: Very easy to setup. Basically Plug and play. Games that support the controller already have the controls mapped out and you can begin playing right away. Love it.

This controller is completely worth it. Get it now if you are at all considering it.
    Summary: Great Controller.
