Rating - 5 Date: 2008-12-01 Content: My 6 year old daughter asked for this 3 years ago for Christmas and she and her brother (8) still play with it. It is great for role playing and practicing nurturing skills, as well as alleviating anxiety about the doctor's office. My son is hard on toys and this has held up very well. It still looks like new and we have all the pieces because you can put them away in the case. I am buying one for my 2 year old niece this year. Summary: money well spent
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-10-19 Content: My kids really enjoy this toy. I like to hide little toys in the cages and my daughter uses the keys to get them out. I got this when my daughter was 2 and she is now almost 4 and still loves it. Summary: Kids don't get bored with this toy!
Rating - 4 Date: 2008-09-10 Content: Both of my 4 year old grandchildren and a 3 year old grandniece have enjoyed "curing" sick stuffed animals and locking and unlocking the cages the animals stay in while under the veterinarian's care. Summary: role playing fun
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-09-05 Content: I got this for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday and my daughter tells me that it is her favourite toy. The animal hospital offers lots of play opportunities. Our little one especially loves locking and unlocking the animal cages using the colour-coded keys (she figured that out right away!). A great toy! Summary: Great gift for a 2 year old
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-08-04 Content: We got this for our (almost 2 year old) son because he was so facinated w/ keys (always trying to put ours in any door/lock he could find). He also loves animals and this is a great portable toy as well (as everything fits inside nicely). We decided to get him a toy that had locks to open, and were very surprised to see how few toy options there were that had working locks. There are some, but most had one key that worked everything and that wasn't a key feature of the toy. I did some more research and discovered this toy by Parents. We've loved the other toys from this brand (alphablock sorter and beebop drum) and assumed this would be another high quality toy. We were correct. Each key is color coordinated to the door it opens (it is possible to use your fingers or something else to open the doors if you lose the key ring), so it also teaches colors and hand coordination. The 3 animals are cute and other small toys also fit inside the cages. The top opens to hold all the tools that a vet would need including a tweasers, stethoscope, working flashlight, vitamin container, needle, and more.
All and all it's a great toy that will grow with your child and is easy to take along to grandma's house. Summary: Great toy for kids who are facinated w/ keys
