Content: This was exactly what I needed to save pictures that I had on floppy's. It was very easy to use, saved the family pictures to my desk top PC, then burned a CD with them, now I have them for easy access, and can share. The cost was so much lower than have a A drive put into the desk top, and I can also let friends and family use it to save their floppy file's.

Content: I bought this floppy drive so that I could use my old Sony Mavica camera with my new laptop. The drive works fine. My floppy drive turned out to be manufactured by Teac. The cable is short, but works out fine for me. Very portable.
Summary: Good Floppy Drive for the Money

Content: I need to boot to a floppy on occassion, so bought this since newer computers tend to not ship anymore with floppy drives but support USB floppy drive boot in the BIOS. This thing works OK when up and running in Windows XP(maybe a bit slow but hey, it's a floppy drive). However, as a boot device it is extremely unreliable (at least on Dell Optiplex 320's and 330's) and you can become wealthy by betting that it won't boot. Of course my office-mate's Sony external USB floppy drive, with the same boot diskette I am using, always works. So, I can't rate it higher than 3 stars, and that's only because it seemingly works OK in Windows and did not cost a fortune, but I am going to have to buy something else for booting to a USB floppy drive. Hope this helps.
Summary: May not boot, but other OK in XP

Content: I had some very old floppies with photos but my up-to-date computer does not have a floppy drive. This drive was cheap and very easy to use (plug it in) and did what I needed, saved some old photos. If I never use it again, it will have been a good buy.
Summary: It did what I needed

Content: There's not much to say about this drive, apart from the fact that I plugged it into a Vista PC and it worked just fine. I found it useful to bring up the Disk Manager and change the drive letter to "A:" so that other users expecting it there wouldn't be surprised.
    Summary: Nicely-done FDD for USB
