Editorial Reviews Product Description: Water Wiggler attracts birds - not mosquitos! Moving water attracts birds. Water Wiggler works great to attract birds and helps prevent the spreading of West Nile virus by eliminating stagnant water in birdbaths. Water Wiggler's unique agitator action creates continuous ripples in water, preventing mosquitos from laying eggs in bird baths. Easy to install. Just place in bird bath and go! No wiring and no plumbing. Operates silently on two D-cell batteries for up to two months of continual use. Operates 24 hours a day. May also be used with heated bird bath in winter.

Rating - 5 Date: 2008-09-14 Content: This is the best water mover. This is my second one to purchase. The other one ran all spring thru fall for 2 years non stop. Would not be without it. Summary: Wiggler is just what you need to keep the water moving
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-05-02 Content: i love it & the birds love it. my bird bath is heated, but i had unplugged it. unexpectedly we had a cold snap, & the water had frozen except for around the wiggler. excellent product. Summary: water wiggler
Rating - 3 Date: 2007-08-14 Content: I saw this and asked for it two Christmas's ago. It has lasted about a year and a half. The batteries run down about every month, and that is OK, but the top started to crack and the screw (a cheap plastic one) was stripped. It needs to be cleaned off on a regular basis if you have any trees over it. The leaves get caught in the spinning device and stops it.
After fixing it too many times to remember...it has finally quit. The water leaked inside the housing. I would like to get another, but at 30-40$ plus shipping, I am not sure it is worth it. Especially if they cannot make it water tight.
A couple more makers (China?) would bring the price down....after all, it is merely a couple batteries propelling a wire around. The trick is to keep it from getting wet.
Summary: Great idea, but few makers & high cost....and short life
Rating - 4 Date: 2007-07-26 Content: I think for the money and the fact it is battery operated, it is a very good product. I occasionally have to pick it up to remove a piece of debris that stops it. It isn't a big deal. We have a very deep birdbath, so I needed to put a rock under the water wiggler to keep it from going below the recommended level. Some reason I assumed it floated, but it stands and the upper body has to be just above the water level. Summary: Works pretty well
Rating - 5 Date: 2007-05-20 Content: I bought the Water Wiggler to increase the bird traffic to my birdbath. It works! It makes small ripples in the water that I suppose catches birds attentions. Well constructed, easy to assemble. Comes with extra wigglers that I stored inside the unit. Summary: Wiggles the water
