Editorial Reviews Product Description: Just when you thought the inMotion portable audio system couldn't get any smaller, iMmini comes along. This tiny, ultra-portable, battery-operated stereo system is the first powered audio system designed exclusively for the iPod mini. A highly efficient Class D amplifier powers four micro drivers to deliver a full spectrum of pure, distinct sound, while the revolutionary MaxxBass technology allows listeners to enjoy deep bass without lugging around a subwoofer. Best of all, connectivity is as easy as placing your iPod mini into the built-in dock.
Customer Reviews Average rating - 4.0
Rating - 5 Date: 2009-01-02 Content: I was honestly expecting lower end sound out of the iMmini. When my wife opened it and turned it on, neither of us could believe the quality. Excellent speakers lacking only the deepest of bass and considering the portability, very worth the money.
It takes AAA batteries (3 if i remember right) and has a wall plug as well. You can leave the batteries in while it's plugged in (as it appears to sense if it has AC power) and when plugged into the wall it'll even charge your iPod.
It does have a non-iPod input (standard 1/8th" headphone jack) and comes with a very short (about 4" or so) cable for other MP3 players (or any other device that has a 1/8th" out. Summary: Incredible sound out of something so portable

Rating - 5 Date: 2008-11-24 Content: I have purchased three of these over the past year. For the money, this compact portable speaker system is great. My wife uses one for her IPOD Nano in the kitchen and the other two are used as supplemental speakers for two laptop computers we own. In both roles, these speaker work great. They won't blow you away but for an average size room, they do fill the room with sound nicely. These speakers can't compare with offerings from BOSE costing 10 to 15 times more but if you keep your expectations in check you won't be disappointed. Summary: Just right & priced right
Rating - 1 Date: 2008-07-24 Content: We own the Altec Lansing inMotion and wanted
another one for our Florida Condo. What we received
is NOT the same. It is smaller and does not fold up.
The one sent does not fit the regular iPod just the Nano.
Bad Deal! Summary: Very Disappointed - NOT AS PICTURED
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-05-23 Content: I bought this mini portable audio system for my desk at work because it looked small and light. When I actually received it I was surprised at how small it really is and a little skeptical, but I am very happy with it. It sounds really good with the volume high or really low. I would recommend this product to anyone; it is a very good buy. The price is excellent also. Summary: Great sound for a low price
