Content: I love Folkmanis finger puppets, and my son was happy to have the mouse to add to his collection, but the mouse we received did not look like the picture.
Our field mouse looks like he's seen better days: the whiskers are not the plastic whiskers you usually find, but just pieces of string, therefore, not very durable. The rope for a tail is cute, but it came frayed at the end, and I won't be surprised when it unravels. Even my three year old said, "Hey, Mama! This mouse has a rope for a tail!"
Basically, this particular Folkmanis puppet is not as well-made as the others I have purchased.
I think they did a much better job on the Mini Oppossum Finger Puppet by Folkmanis.

Content: I love Folkmanis puppets! I used them in our church and have bought several "just because." This little guy looks very real and is well made. He can be played with by children or set on a shelf as part of a display. Very good value!

Content: Kids just LOVE them! Nothing makes a bedtime story more interesting than having their stuffed-animal friends participate in them - and give them a goodnight peck in the end.
It is never easy teaching our children the facts of life, cause and effect, decisions and consequences, rights and responsibilities. These finger puppets make it just a tad easier.
Accurate and durable (not for preschoolers though, they might bite off parts), I am sure you will find them precious too.
I have a set of seven (a field mouse, a raccoon, a fox, a timber wolf, an owl, a black bear and a white bear) and I alternate them to keep things interesting. The owl makes only...rare appearances.

Content: Folkmanis makes great looking puppets, and these mice are no exception. Plush products often have fairly inconsistent quality, but the four mice I ordered were all perfect. And these mice are just beautiful - among the nicest finger puppets I've ever seen. Being finger puppets, they are not very movable (these ones don't even bend very well), so all the action must come from gross movement. Most Folkmanis puppets are sufficiently stuffed that they could serve as traditional stuffed toys, with the added benefit of being puppets. I'm sure many children (and a fair number of adults) would greatly enjoy these mice even if they never once put them on a finger!
