Content: I purchased this easel for my 21/2 year old grandaughter who is delighted with it. The easel is adjustable, sturdy and should last a long time. Highly recommended.

Content: If your kids love painting, writing, or drawing nearly as much as my kids do you need to get the paper roll for the easel. It fits perfectly on the Melissa & Doug easel stand and is better than using the dry erase board, which inevitably gets marked up with un-erasable colors.
I have not, however, purchased it from Amazon at the[...........] price which I think is way too much. I buy it locally for [...........] per roll.

Content: You should by two. My 6yr old and 4 yr old are intense painters and did this daily for close to 2 months. Thank goodness I had my second roll as a back-up to give me a chance to buy my next set of paper rolls!

Content: If you own the art supplies to go with Melissa and Doug's easel, you absolutely do need the Easel Paper Roll to complete the package. It fits perfectly with the easel, and I recommend that you purchase multiple rolls at once to always have an extra on hand. After all, you never know when young artists will be struck by inspiration!
