Editorial Reviews Product Description: This three-in-one kit includes a stylish cradle, spare battery charging drawer, cable, and 110-240 volt charger with international adapters. Charging and synchronizing is fast and easy. Plus, you'll get your phone and extra battery charged all at once so you're always ready to go. Amazon.com Product Description: If you're looking for a fast, convenient way to charge and synchronize data with your Treo 650 or 700, here's the answer. This cradle kit includes a snappy-looking cradle, a slot for charging a spare battery, a data cable, and a 110-240 volt AC adapter. Palm also generously includes international adapters so you can travel widely (U.S.A., U.K., Europe, Australia) and still have charging capabilities. The advanced switching type power supply is compatible with most international voltages and frequencies (110-240 volts, 50-60 Hz, 1A DC output). The spare battery charging slot has a smart little cover that forms the rear of the unit. The cradle also has the venerable Palm hot-sync button so you can instantly sync your Treo 650 or 700 with the touch of a button. And if you need to pack lightly, you can detach the cradle from the power and data cables and plug them directly into the Treo 650 or 700. The cradle uses the new "Multi Connector" standard found on newer Palm devices. NOTE: This cradle kit is only compatible with the Treo 650/700. What's in the Box Handset charging cradle, AC power cable, international voltage adapters, Multi Connector data cable.

Rating - 5 Date: 2008-06-28 Content: Since charger arrived i have been extremely pleased with the ease and adaptibility of all the functions of the unit i received. i would recommend this item to other palm treo users. Summary: Outstanding Charger
Rating - 1 Date: 2008-06-18 Content: My Treo actually looks good in the cradle. Too bad it doesn't work! I will be sending it back. Despite the other bad reviews, I hoped beyond hope that I would get to enjoy this product. However, it wasn't meant to be as I did get one of the faulty ones. But...I give it a star for its attractiveness. Summary: Add yet another defective one to the list!
Rating - 4 Date: 2008-05-12 Content: After buying a used Treo 650, I've picked up a number of accessories, including this cradle kit. I've found it to be almost essential.
Prior to getting the cradle - I charged and synced via a Palm cable and an after-market charger. This was unsatisfactory on two counts. The charger plug was loose, and had to be wiggled just right in order to charge. Worse, the Treo wasn't designed for table use. Picture a slippery Treo resting on a table on it's rounded back, with charge and sync cables maybe hanging off the edge of the table, and perhaps waiting to get snagged.
In the cradle, though, the connections are tight and the unit is held very securely and can't be accidentally dislodged. I can use it in the cradle without picking it up.
Yes, you lose access to the headset jack - but then again, the jack is too weak to dock with without damaging it. (And too bad it's at the bottom of the phone, rather than the side.)
The charging drawer is a convenience, if you use a spare battery. Keep in mind though, that the cradle will charge only the phone or the spare, but not both at the same time. The phone gets priority. The charge light, by the way, is for the spare only.
I like the modularity of the kit - the way that the power supply and sync cable can be used independently of the cradle. Summary: essential item for a 650
Rating - 4 Date: 2008-01-28 Content: If you have bluetooth, this is a GREAT product because you can simply leave your phone in the upright charger and make hands-free calls. Charger does appear to stop charging when the battery is full (red light turns green on the phone and then the charge is simply "maintained"). There is a SYNC button on the front of the charger; however, I don't use that because I use "over the air" sync. Good product for the price. Summary: MUCH better than the charger that comes with phone
Rating - 4 Date: 2008-01-07 Content: i've had my palm for about 4 years now (various models of the phone), i've bought extra chargers, cables batteries etc.. This is very useful except two things..
1) I can't charge my treo bluetooth head set -would be nice to be able to have slot to stick that into.
2) i got this mainly for the spare battery and allthough not everyone will need this .. you can't get to the spare battery that is charging behind the phone unless you take the phone out. I need that as i have other phones that I use and may need that spare battery. I have seen other docks that have a battery slot in the back, this one is in a flip down panel behind where the phone goes.
it charges and syncs great, price was excellent value, international plugs not necessary but seems palm wants you to have it.
Summary: very nice
