They are great for removing hot pots from the stovetop or baking trays from the oven. It can also be used as a trivet to protect countertops from the heat of hot pots. Content: Was hoping to get a potholder that I could easily wipe off rather than my fabric ones dipping into foods and getting messy quickly. Was very disappointed. This is not a product to be reaching into an oven with. Fine to set hot pots on, but not to be used to pull food out of an oven.

Content: The pros of these potholders are that they work well and look sharp hanging in the kitchen. The only con is that they are on the small side, so if you don't hold them just right you could get a finger over the edge and burn yourself. Handle with care!

Content: I purchased 2 sets of these MIU Silicone Potholders in Black (4 total). I purchased them mainly to use as trivets, but oh my! I love them as potholders, trivets and jar openers. I will never own any other trivet or potholder ever again. Quick wash, almost no storage space, multipurpose! I highly recommend.

Content: These work terrific as hot matts, but not very well as potholders. They are not very flexible which makes them difficult to use as a potholder.
