Spot-X Hard Water Stain & Spot Remover cleans stubborn stains from your vehicle or household glass. Whether the water stains are caused by acid rain, salt water, road grime, sprinklers or well water, Spot X Glass Cleaner will work, we guarantee it. While SpotX cannot be used on auto paint it will not harm the paint if it gets on it. Simply rinse off with water. Household windows are just as easy. Please note it is very important to use the non-scratch pads that come with the Spot-X. All OTHER pads have a grit in the glue that binds the fibers and will scratch glass. Our pads were specifically made for this product. Spot-X CANNOT scratch glass. It is just below glass on the Moh's Hardness Scale.

Content: I bought this and followed directions with pretty good results on one side of car with HEAVY glass stains. It was difficult for me to get the hang of getting the powder/water mixture just right...after a time I caught on but was still leery of using an abrasive pad on my windows. As I was using it I remarked at how similar the product was to BarKeepers Friend, which we use to clean our glass cooktop. After consulting the BarKeeps Friend website, I discovered that Bar Keepers Friend could be used on glass with no scrub pad needed. So, I got out our can, got a cloth nice and damp, sprinkled a little Bar Keepers on it, and proceeded to clean the windows on other side of the vehicle using alot less product resulting in less mess and effort. Again, Spot X worked OK but BarKeepers Friend was easier to use and is less than $5 (at grocery stores) for a 12 ounce can.
Summary: Works OK, but a simpler and much cheaper solution exists

Content: This product is absolutely amazing! I've been looking at the ugly water spots on my passenger-side window since my neighbor's sprinkler went on the fritz two years ago. And now they're completely gone. It's now the clearest window in my car! Worth every penny and then some. I have no idea why this product isn't on the shelves of every auto parts store in the country!

Content: OK, I admit it. I was skeptical at best before I tried this product. I ordered it thinking that I had just wasted 15 bucks. However I was desperate. My brand new car had gotten pummeled by my neighbors sprinklers. After a deluxe 30 dollar car wash I realized that nothing was going take the water stains out. I tried pretty much every product on the market to get these spots out with no avail. I even tried windex, ketchup, and coca cola. I was left with nothing but a sticky smelly car and a bee sting. The body shop told me that they would have to replace two windows, a side mirror, a windshield and also repaint the car to the tune of almost 2 grand. Apparently the sun had "etched the water stains into my car." Out of desperation I ordered this product. When I got it in the mail I thought that I had been ripped off Angrily I tried it out. IT WORKED! The first application took most of the water spots off however it did take between 2-3 applications to get everything off entirely. I also had to scrub very hard. However I think the 15 bucks and a lot of elbow grease is better than 2 grand and a week without a car!
You will not be disappointed!!

Content: This is the only product that I have tried that works in removing hard water spots (from lawn sprinklers)on windows. I could barely see out of my car window and nothing I tried would take those spots off. Only this, Spot-X. I was very happy when I discovered it.

Content: All I can say is that this stuff works.. and works great. I bought my car from a seller in L.A. California (I live in North Carolina). It was in great shape except for hard water spots all over the windows (I assume from acid rain or something). The windows almost felt pitted, and I thought all I could do to fix them was to replace them. I bought Spot-X after reading all the praise that it got from Amazon. They were right, it works wonderfully!! No more spots, the windows are crystal clear, and feel like they've been waxed. Spot-X is well worth the money.
