Rating - 5 Date: 2006-10-02 Content: The 40% zinc oxide heals rashes more quickly than the 10% or 20% concentration found in most other ointments. The goat's milk and other ingredients make a very nice protective barrier against wetness. This stuff protects and heals. I have observed diaper rash begin to heal within six to eight hours using Li'l Goats.
Most other diaper rash products use cod liver oil as a wetness barrier. Li'l Goats doesn't use it so there is no oily feeling.
The large container is a real value. Most tubes have about 2 ounces of ointment. Ounce per ounce Li'l Goats is a better value than most tubes. Never mind that it's an all around superior product. Summary: Fantastic Value and it Works
Rating - 5 Date: 2006-04-07 Content: With all of the other perils in bringing home a new baby, a diaper rash just adds to the frustration. I was given the Canus Li'l Goat's Milk Bar Soap as a gift and thought the diaper cream was worth a shot. The other diaper creams I tried didn't help much. I have been amazed at how well it works and the price is can't be beat. My daughter hasn't had a single rash since purchasing this cream. It even smells nice. I now give it as a gift to everyone I know having a baby. Summary: Won't use anything else!
Rating - 5 Date: 2005-09-02 Content: I went to a newborn baby class and they recommended ANY brand of cream which had 40% zinc oxide. There are others out there on the shelves of your drugstore chains, but they do not smell nice or they don't protect the skin. I was only concerned about keeping my baby rash free.
I have used other tube brands when we're on the go and Canus is my favorite choice for overnight protection. Some diapers chafe the skin and when I put a little on the redness, the red marks are usually healed by the next diaper change.
This ointment smelled nice and is easy to apply when you have only one hand free with the other holding baby from flipping around!
I only wish it was sold in bulk! Summary: No Diaper Rash Ever...
Rating - 5 Date: 2005-08-20 Content: I tried this cream after reading the reviews on this site. I was very impressed with the cream, especially the quantity vs the price. It has a pleasant smell and it as good as the 'California Baby' diaper rash cream i used to use before, but lot less expensive. When I saw the box, I was amazed at the quantity and it will last forever.
The skin is smooth after its application and very easy to remove, unlike other creams which have to be scraped to get them off the skin. Summary: Great cream. Very affordable price. Nice smell.
Rating - 4 Date: 2005-04-07 Content: I have used A&D with zinc on all three of my children, the youngest of whom is now 10 months old. I could no longer find it in stores, so I tried this through Amazon.com
Very impressed! Pleasant, mild scent (resembles Noxema), excellent rash protection, thick but not gooey, easy to remove. More affordable than A&D or Desitin ($3.99 for 4 oz) My new standby! Summary: Nice scent - easy to apply/remove - works!
