Editorial Reviews Description: Welcome to the ultimate collection of the strange, the wild and the wacky—Bloopers, Blunders & Bailouts from Warren Miller Entertainment. Available on DVD for the first time ever, this is a classic set of two of the greatest compilations of side-splitting winter weirdness. In The Best of Winter Bloopers, Vol. 3, you’ll see inner-tubing, cardboard downhills, snowshoe races, dummy races, pond jumps, dirt skiing, chairlift and rope tow blunders, not to mention some of the most outrageous ski and snowboard crashes ever caught on film. The entire collection is narrated by the Master of Winter Comedy himself, Warren Miller. Skiing Bloopers II will show you why Warren Miller has rightfully been called the "King of Skiing Comedy." You’ll see it all, from altitude-weary beginners to Zudnik, the half-wolf, half-husky who gets a speeding ticket in Crested Butte. It’s the cream of the comedy crop: crashes, klutzes and collisions as only Warren Miller Entertainment can deliver. Amazon.com: Warren Miller's Bloopers, Blunders and Bailouts is a slapstick compilation of earlier Miller programs celebrating extreme klutziness and silliness in sundry winter wonderlands. Miller plays droll host for a feast of archival footage revealing the human body's capacity to bounce and bounce (and bounce) down endless ski runs after a loss of footing. The question of how many rocks and trees a man can hit before he's broken is never quite resolved, but less agonizing comedy can be found in ordinary mishaps on rope tows and first-time skier panic on gentle bunny runs. Then there's the human impulse to attempt the truly stupid, such as skiing down steep hills of weeds and riding bikes down ski trails. Novel activities include skiing with dogs, skiing in bikinis (both genders), and skiing on furniture. If the measure of a man is whether he can rappel down a steep hill in skis, well, heroes await within. --Tom Keogh

Rating - 2 Date: 2008-11-23 Content: Being a big Warren Miller fan, I thought this would be a fun gift for my skiing husband. It wasn't up to any Warren Miller standard. It is two segments on one DVD and some of the clips are repeated from the first to second segment. Save your money and buy the boxed set. It has all of these sometimes lame clips plus good skiing and great mountain shots. Summary: Not really the Best Of
Rating - 3 Date: 2008-01-07 Content: Initially DVD was great. Very funny stuff. However, when you click on the second half of the DVD, about 5 minutes in it starts repeating the videos from the first half of the DVD. Summary: Warren Miller highlights
Rating - 4 Date: 2007-06-01 Content: This is a nice fairly clean review of my favorite winter sport. Some parts are cuter and funnier than others but you'll enjoy watching it over and over; a good party pleaser. Summary: Easygoing entertainment
Rating - 3 Date: 2007-01-10 Content: I am a Warren Miller fan and always thought that his movies had funny moments. This DVD did not have the scenes which I remembered. It is average for entertainment value overall. Summary: average
Rating - 5 Date: 2007-01-09 Content: This is a wonderful addition to any Warren Miller collection.
Even if you aren't a skier, you will be entertained and amazed. Summary: good deal
