Rating - 3 Date: 2009-01-06 Content: there's no getting around the fact that this is a pretty fun toy. however, it's not what i'd call durable. the connectors tend to loosen over time and the track correspondingly starts to sag. good fun, just be careful with it. additionally, it's probably best to use this on a hard surface. Summary: plenty of fun, light on the durability
Rating - 4 Date: 2008-12-28 Content: We have had this toy for at least 3 years, and the only real problem, besides it just being plastic, is that we had to make rock weights for the bottom of the supports to keep the posts steady while in motion. But it does incourage creativity. This year we bought the Magnetix iCoaster. Now that is an outstanding coaster and durable.
Summary: Good, but....
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-12-28 Content: I purchased this toy for my 3 1/2 year after reading the reviews of this and all the other marble runs. This is a really fun marble run- for me- putting it together and trying to make it work by trial and error. I love the flexibility of the track. I love how the parts all fit together. I wish I had bought the larger set most definitely. However, it is a little fragile for a 3 1/2 year old who is not always so steady and careful around it. It can be easy to knock off balance. I did struggle to get the right design that would work. It's a very compelling toy. And I would very much recommend it for a 4+ year old. Summary: pretty cool marble run
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-12-24 Content: the kids pooled their hanukkah money and bought this together. within 15 minutes we were rolling marbles down a 9-meter track. the pieces snap together easily and securely, the modular construction allows easy mods, and the set is large enough to make a bunch of really cool tracks.
it doesn't glow in the dark very well, but no one seemed to care. definitely lives up to the promises on the box. Summary: 15 minutes to marble racing!
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-12-04 Content: This toy was a success with our 6 year old who is now 8 and still plays with it. Kids can follow the instructions and make the tracks or easily create their own. Some he has done climb down the stairs and over chairs etc. Good toy, not total junk. Summary: Good Purchase, Great Toy
