Content: This product is a tank, as long as you used quality blanks (read: Verbatim or other top tier manufacturers) my 2 DVJ-X1s have worked eons better than anything else on the market. HOWEVER, unless you need BNC component outputs there is no reason for fork out the extra cash for these now that the DVJ-1000s are on the market. The 1000s also have a nicer platter and brighter display. I cannot fault this deck for anything else, they ushered in a new era of abilities for DJs and VJs alike.
Summary: The bad boy that started it all!

Content: Locks up/freezes in the middle of a song. NOT good when the dance floor is packed, your boss is watching, & you have to reboot it. Of course you can do the same thing on a low end computer or laptop (software is extra) that won't lock up a lot cheaper.
