Editorial Reviews Product Description: ZMOP1 is a slim fan designed to be attached to the Zalman ZM80C-HPs cooling for graphic cards Amazon.com Product Description: The ZM-OP1 80 mm fan was designed to enhance the performance of Zalman's ZM80C-HP heatpipe cooler. The noiseless ZM-OP1 comes with a fan grille and is slim enough that you can attach it directly to the cooler's heatsink without using a supporting bracket. In silent mode, the fan spins at 1,400 rpm (+/- 10 percent) with a noise rating of 20 dB. In normal mode, it spins at 2,800 rpm (+/- 10 percent) with a noise rating of 33 dB. The fan uses a ZM-MC1 (3-pin) multi-connector and a 2-ball bearing. It measures 80 x 15 x 80 mm (W x H x D) and weighs 75 grams. Its in-use life expectancy is 50,000 hours. You must use the ZM-OP1 with the ZM80C-HP if you're using an nVIDIA GeForce FX5800, an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, a Matrox Parhelia, or a more advanced card.
Customer Reviews Average rating - 3.5
Rating - 2 Date: 2007-12-29 Content: I installed this fan in a Cooler Master 690 case. The fan was the loudest in the case. After taking it out life got better. To the fan's defense there were 2 grills to deal with, but it was more the wine of a small fan that was the issue. Summary: The loudest fan in the case
Rating - 5 Date: 2007-04-30 Content: Well made fan, I am useing it to cool the 3 scsi hard drives in my pc. It does a great job. The fan can run at two speeds. I prefer the high speed. Noise at the high speed is noticable at the lower speed it is very quite. All in all I am quite pleased. Summary: very well made
