Content: An absolutely incredible album. This is not only JMT's best effort as a group, but also Paz's, Jus Allah's, and Stoupe's best material individually. Raw and gritty hip-hop. 5 stars, no doubt.

I must stress the importance of Jus Allah on this record, as this was his first appearance as a member of Jedi Mind. The dude is a beast. Blows Paz away, by far. A lot of people hate on this cat because of his 5-percenter ideology, but in my opinion it's what makes him ill.

Do not sleep on this record! This is a must have for true hip hop heads!!!

Content: this album may have beats from stoupe enemy of mankind or whatever his name is, but their not all that great, listening to music, taking small samples blending them over drum beats does not mean you have talent, jus allah is racist and his lyrics are obviously fantasy, he's just some guy from philly who writes down complex phrases and says them over beats, in real life, WEAK!!! and vince paz - a white kid from philly who claims to be muslim and hates gays, i met him when he was in a group called soulcraft, his rhymes and voice may grab ahold of you, but listen to what he really says, he's pathetic along with his self hating (must wish he was'nt white) anti-gay (can't except who he is) wish's he was supernatural cultrally confused little boy.
    Summary: not worth the purchase

Content: I would label JMT as Hardcore/Horror core rap with a Wu-Tang influence. They rap about theology, science fiction, philosophy sometimes in a kind of distorted and contradictable way -- I have trouble trying to fathom Vinnie Paz's ideology. Jus Allah is often mistaken as a Muslim but is in fact a 5 percenter which is why he often refers to himself as god for those who don't know 5 percenter teachings; but all in all it's just jarring. Their lyrical concept is fresh and original to a certain extent. JMT is heavy on biblical references the beats and production are top notch. Stoupe is an amazing producer, up there with RZA. This music gets you hyped. I can't really understand how some people despise them and don't consider them true MC's. This is classic material in my opinion.
    Summary: CLASSIC

Content: Hip-Hop and the love for the music we wish never faded as rapidly as it has is back in the main-stream with this amazing mix of beats, rhymes and flow...Vennie P and his players certainlly embroil me with a breath of fresh air. If you want underground Hip-Hop and dont wana listen to "Rims and Ice" then this is the Album of 2007!
    Summary: JMT

    Rating - 5 Date: 2007-11-30
Content: ..The album begins with the infamous Dr.Zaius quote, "The sacred scrolls of the ape "lawgiver", from the film Planet of the Apes(1968).."Beware the beast Man, for he is the Devil's pawn.." ....silence..the sounds of sirens and turntable scratches commence the first track, "Retaliation".

Among your initial listen to this album, you can feel an almost cinematic approach to the record. Each song ties into eachother with either film snippets, rhythmic instrumentals or random shout outs from fellow rappers. Some would say this has a mixtape aura, or a compilation even, due to the heavy guest spots and diverse tracklisting. Stoupe brings upon a production style so dark and distinct that it gives listeners a similar impression of listening to Wu-Tang's 36 Chambers for the first time.

Artists Vinnie Paz and Jus Allah express no subtelty in their religious views and graphic content of their lyrics. With elements of science fiction and often intense conspiracy theories, the duo cover all angles of extreme thoughts and inspirations.

This is true hip-hop breaking new ground; the production and lyrics experiment a formula that has gained a large underground following since its release in 2000. If you have not listened to this album, you are surely missing out on an innovative form of hip-hop; do yourself a favor and cop this classic.peace.
