Editorial Reviews Product Description: This griddle's extra-large cooking surface makes enough food for the entire family: Control Master(R) heat control maintains proper cooking temperature automatically: Premium nonstick surface for stick-free cooking and easy cleaning: Slide-out drip tray catches cooking drippings for healthier cooking: Griddle is completely immersible with the heat control removed: 1-year limited warranty Amazon.com Review: Generously proportioned with a 22-by-11-inch cooking surface, this indoor electric griddle cooks enough pancakes or hamburgers for a large crowd. Similar to Presto’s Model 07038 22-Inch Electric Griddle, this model features a smoother, more professional grade nonstick finish. Because food doesn’t stick easily, the griddle requires very little grease, thereby producing healthier food. For fattier meats like bacon, a groove along one side channels drips through a small hole into a sturdy plastic container that slides completely out for cleaning. When the griddle’s heat control is removed, the unit is fully submersible in warm, soapy water. The 1500-watt griddle plugs into any 120-volt outlet and automatically maintains any temperature setting from warm to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Made of heavy duty cast aluminum that resists warping and distributes heat evenly, the griddle overall measures 27 by 13 by 4-1/2 inches and is covered by a two-year warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

Rating - 5 Date: 2009-01-05 Content: I bought this griddle in 2005 and it still works great! This griddle is used all the time for Pancake parties at the schools I have taught at. It always makes a perfect pancake, and when I am selfish at home, I can make pancakes, hash browns, and eggs at the same time! I could not be happier.
And, cleaning is a snap. A washcloth, a touch of soap, and a some water. Couple wipes and it is clean (and I am a stereotypical guy, cleaning is not my strength) Summary: Awesome!

GRIDDLE IS USED WEEKLEY FOR PANCAKES AND FRENCH TOAST. A LITTLE HOT ON ONE END SO YOU NEED TO ADJUST OTHER THAN THAT IT WORKES GREAT. I HAVE USED OTHER BRANDS BUT THEY DON'T LAST LIKE PRESTO. I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. Summary: HOT OFF THE GRIDDLE
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-12-13 Content: I love my griddle. It is the only one I have owned. I loved the price I paid for it. I have owned it a year. I don't mind if my pancakes are slightly uneven in color. I love to whip out a pancake breakfast for a family of seven in just a few minutes. I used to cook pancakes on the stove which took forever, and I seemed to always burn them. It is extremely difficult to burn pancakes on this griddle. They always taste great and never stick. This griddle dosen't get hot enough to make good flour tortillas, though. Most people probably don't care. It's great for pancakes. Scrambled eggs like to run down the grease hole, so you have to raise up the front two legs by sliding saucers or something under them, understandably. It's great for cooking hambergers on, though. I haven't had a problem with any legs or handles breaking. The grease cup only chipped because I dropped it on my ceramic tile floor. Nothing stands up to a ceramic tile floor, though. Summary: I love it.
Rating - 4 Date: 2008-11-27 Content: I mostly use mine to make french toast and bacon. I like the fact that I can make an entire breakfast and only have 1 thing to clean. I've had mine for about 3 years now and use it maybe 2-3 a month and it seems like it is cooking faster on the edges than in the middle. I only paid $20 for mine because I got it on black friday, but overall, it's been a useful part of my kitchen. I will probably buy another one when it goes out. Summary: Great for breakfast!
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-11-09 Content: Making pancakes, french toast and bacon is an ease with the Presto 22 inch griddle. It is the perfect size for a family of four. I would not call it Jumbo. The heating is even throughout but I do need to set the heat lower than the recipe instructions, for example if the recipe calls for 375 degrees, I use 300 degrees. For pancakes there is no need for using oil since the non-stick is really non-stick. I have only had the grill about 1 month but so far it's the best grill I have ever owned. I look forward to making breakfast now since I know it will only take 10 minutes! Summary: Breakfast in 10 minutes
