Customer Reviews Average rating - 2.5
Rating - 4 Date: 2007-05-19 Content: I am very pleased with this headset. This was a replacement for a previous headset. It was not available at stores nearby. I tried 3 other headsets before searching online for this model to replace the one I previously owned.
This headset has all the features I was looking for, over the ear, mute and volume control.
Only negative feature is that they only last about a year but the price is reasonable so replacing is not too much of a burden.
Summary: Very pleased
Rating - 1 Date: 2005-12-10 Content: The audio quality was fine for me and I liked the volume control. However, after two months of use, the ear hook has become flabby and no longer the retains the shape that I bend it into, so it constant slips out of position. Very disappointed. Summary: Ear hook wore out after two months
Rating - 1 Date: 2005-12-01 Content: This headset is the worst I have ever owned. The over ear arm will not hold its position. The earpiece fits over the outer ear, does not stay in place, constantly slipping out of position, making a normal conversation impossible. Summary: Best part was destroying it with a hammer!!
Rating - 2 Date: 2005-10-25 Content: The best part is the answer/end pod which works swell with my Samsung sch-a670 phone. But the ear piece is nearly overwhelmed by ambient noise, and the mic makes you sound "distant", making it difficult to hear or be heard. The ear hook is almost impossible to put on one-handed, but fit the shape of my ear quite comfortably, so I ended up using it more at the office rather than on the road. Overall it could be better, not recommended for driving because of interference from external noise and difficulty in putting on. Voice commands did not work with this product, but to be fair they worked sporadically without. Summary: Good premise does not quite deliver
Rating - 3 Date: 2004-10-27 Content: I must say, my favorite thing about this headset was the answer/end call button. This worked perfectly with my phone and I quickly grew very used to being able to connect, disconnect and do voice dials without having to fumble for my phone or take my eyes off the road to press a button or dial a number.
The sound quality is good - I could always hear the person on the other end just fine. There were a few people who consistently complained that this headset generated a lot of static (I couldn't hear anything) for them (there was no static talking directly into the handset) but most had no problems.
The 2 biggest problems I have with this are that it is a real task to put on and take off, especially when driving.
Moreover, it is not the most comfortable of headsets. It is fine for the first 10 minutes or so, but it really starts feeling uncomfortable after that. This is fine if you only wear the headst for the duration of a single call then remove it. However, if you are like me who puts on the headset, then wants to leave it on for the duration of the car ride, this really does not work. Summary: Good sound quality, but not very comfortable for driving
