Customer Reviews Average rating - 3.5
Rating - 2 Date: 2007-01-04 Content: After playing some other Scooby games my daughter (8) and I decided to pick up this one. Unfortunately it was not as good as the previous one we played (Some Egypt location game). This one was more annoying than anything else. She finished it really quickly and basically put it away for good shortly after. The previous game has a high replay value - not so with this one. It might be fun for younger ones though... Summary: Not the best Scooby Game
Rating - 4 Date: 2006-11-09 Content: I teach mentally handicapped adults with the average mental intelligence of kindergarteners and first graders. Although ultimately, this game was too hard for my students to play on a regular basis, parts of it were definitely suitable for my students in being both challenging and fun to play. I would definitely recommend this game for first graders and older and that in the beginning, it would help to play this game with your kids until you feel they are comfortable enough to play this game by themselves. All in all, a great game for Scooby Doo lovers! Summary: Great game for young kids and mentally handicapped adults!
Rating - 4 Date: 2006-04-02 Content: My son loves Scooby Doo so of course this was the perfect choice for his first Computer game. He is only 4 and just learning how to use a Computer so I had to help him.
The setting is great in the Museum and he loved the different rooms you get to explore with bugs, dinosaurs and old bones. Each room contains some sort of a puzzle or game where at the end when you finish you receive a clue to match up with the 5 possible suspects. The one thing I didn't like is that some of the puzzles you had to do 4 times before you received the clue and that got a little boring having to do it over so many times.
There are great little effects in the game where when you click on some objects they will turn into the bug man for a few seconds or fly around the room etc.
Also Scooby and Shaggy will not go into any room without receiving a Scooby Snack first. The game only provides you with a few so at some point you have to go upstairs and play a game to receive more Scooby Snacks.
Overall it is a good game but it doesn't take long at all to finish it to the end. That was a bit dissapointing as I expected more from it. But the short while it does last is great fun for little Scooby Fans. I wouldn't recommend getting this game for young children unless you are willing and have the time to play it with them. They may get frustrated. Summary: Loads of fun but over to quickly!
Rating - 1 Date: 2006-03-21 Content: I can't get this program to run with Nero installed, I just get an errorbox about a debugger. The game runs fine when Nero is uninstalled, but after re-installing Nero it refuses again.
Tried this on various computers (XP Pro and Home, English and Norwegian version, Nero OEM and Full) but got the same results everywhere. Customer support doesn't get further than advising to uninstall Nero.
Don't buy this program if you need Nero. Summary: Doesn't run when Nero is installed.
Rating - 2 Date: 2006-01-05 Content: I received this gift for Christmas, and was very dissapointed. The Scary Stone Dragon has a great plot, but I solved it in 30 mins. I have two other ones that I've played for days, and I still can't solve them! Do not, I repeat do not, get this game. Summary: Not too good.
