Editorial Reviews Product Description: The bag that started it all. Jim Domke had the first one custom made for his own use in 1976, and tens of thousands of bags later, the F-2 is still a popular Domke Bag. It is the faithful companion of professional photographers around the world. Can easily hold 2 cameras with or without motor drives, 6-10 lenses up to 300mm, flash unit, 10-20 rolls of film, and accessories.

Rating - 5 Date: 2008-12-13 Content: I was working out of two separate bags (array of equipment includes a D-700 and six lenses 24mm to 200mm, plus a flash). Unpacked the bag from shipping and unloaded my other bags into it immediately. One review I read before purchase said that the bag was intuitive. I found this to be true, as every piece I have seemed to slip right into a perfectly designed place and, better yet, they have all found a home there while working through several demanding jobs. Space-wise, this bag just makes sense. I never have to think about where to put things as I'm working or packing up after the gig.
The bag is sturdy, hugs the body, and the strap is wide with a lock that doesn't slip. I can't imagine a better bag.
The Domke USPO shoulder pad makes for a great addition.
I would recommend this bag to any photographer (pro/beginner), who has need to haul one or two camera bodies, multiple primes, and small accessories. Summary: The positive reviews are true!
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-10-22 Content: Just perfect in every way. A soul-mate to the professional photographer, or someone looking for a good time; although, once is never enough with Domke. After you get a taste of the F2 everything else is pale in comparison. Its true what they say: Once you go Domke F2 Original bag (Black), you'll never go back. Summary: If only a woman could be as good as this!
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-05-04 Content: I've had a smaller Domke (F6?) for nearly 20 years and it's been a great bag and has worn like iron. Somehow along the way I lost focus and started using those over-padded monstrosities. I finally realized the error of my ways and bought a new Domke that would hold more of my gear, including (among other things) a Canon 100-400L and a 5D with battery grip. Now I remember why I bought my original Domke all those years ago! The bag conforms to your hip and with the shoulder pad it's got all-day comfort whether you carry it over the shoulder or messenger style. I highly recommend it. Summary: Holds a TON of gear without being too bulky
Rating - 5 Date: 2007-10-19 Content: I have always used a back-pack style of camera bag, which is good for storage but not as practical in the field. I really like the canvas Domke for its great strap that stays on your shoulder, and the softness of the bag next to your hip.
I carry a Canon 5D with 24-105mm lens attached, as well as a 70-200mm zoom, a 85mm prime, a 1.4x tele, extra batteries, filters, cables, external flash, memory cards- and I have plenty of room.
My daughter uses a Domke F-6 which is smaller, but also has a nice amount of room. If you don't have a lot of equipment, consider the F-6 as an option. Summary: Domke F-2
Rating - 5 Date: 2007-08-16 Content: I've had a Domke bag for over 40 years. These are the things I love about it. It is light weight, durable, flexible, and usable. Not using other bags I don't know how easily it is to change compartments. This one is a snap with velcro fastening and multiple pockets. One on the flap for print material, two in front for filters, microfiber cloth, batteries, memory cards, etc. One on the far side of the bag for incidental items that are exposed to the weather but still come in handy. Two, one on each end. The shoulder strap stays ON ALL THE TIME. You can pick up the bag with a removable canvass strap without opening or unbuckling the bag. Oh yes, and it doesn't look like a camera bag. It is weatherproof and an absolutely delight to use. Summary: Built for all Ages
