    Amazon.com Review:
Hoover’s latest canister stands out for its design-savvy looks, not to mention the fact that it cleans with powerful WindTunnel technology. Dirt particles are cleverly ducted away from the spinning agitators to ensure they’re captured in the bagless dirt cup and not sent back out onto the carpet. The HEPA filter traps minute allergen particles and conveniently removes for cleaning. Large, soft wheels allow the compact 12-amp vacuum--which looks like it could play a robot extra in Star Wars--to maneuver easily. Best of all, the handgrip features electronic control buttons for power on and off, variable suction (allowing smooth transition from wood floors to area rugs), and agitator action speed for carpets. Tools are easily attached to the telescoping wand, making it a snap to switch from cleaning floors to using drape and upholstery tools. A one-year warranty covers this unique vacuum against defects.

Content: We just got one the other day, so i don't know about long term reliability. But on first use it was powerful, and versatile. It takes some assembly and figuring out how to attach everything, but its really not as cumbersome as it looks.
Pros: You can turn the vacuum on and off with a button on the handle.
You can carry the canister easily up stairs with the handle.
It has multiple levels of suction.
It is powerful, pulls up alot of dirt from carpets.
    Retractable cord is nice.
Is lightweight and fairly easy to manuever.

Cons:The carpet head doesnt twist, so you have to twist your wrist when using.
Wish you could just turn off the brushes for use on hard floors, instead of having to switch heads.

Summary: Well made, works well, fairly easy to use, and light to carry

Content: Recently moved into a new home..looked around many vacuums before zeroing on this one.
After using it I'm not disappointed!! Really a nice vacuum and worth every penny..
It is not loud, cleans throughly, easy to assemble and store..It pulls dirt at a very effective pace and the only drawback is that you end up emptying the trash can quiet often.I'm satisfied with this one and will recommend it!!
    Summary: Worth every penny! Nice

Content: Vac has many good features, including a power upholstery nozzle and side brushes on the main carpet nozzle that allow one to get right up to baseboards and automatically adjusts to carpet pile. Unit is bagless; one just empties a plastic dirt cup. Has dual air filters, including a HEPA filter. Has tall casters, so it travels easily and does not tip sideways. Has multiple suction strengths with an indicator light on the console. Has an extra-wide floor attachment. Is much quieter than most home vacuums. Has an extensible wand/hose to accommodate different heights of operators. Unit seems tough. Comprehensive instructions allow the owner to trouble-shoot problems like clogs and snarls from such things as pet hair easily. Only criticism is that attachments other than the two power nozzles do not seem to "lock" into bottom of pipe in just one position so one may have to rotate them experimentally to achieve the right bends in the hose and pipe to allow the attachments to "sit" on the floor properly.

Content: We've had this vacuum for 10 months (empty nesters, no pets, 1500 sf home, cleaning service uses this vacuum). It worked really well at the start, then after 9 months started to fade. The problems are that 1) The belt needed to be changed on the powerhead and 2) The filter really needed to be replaced, washing, 'tho possible was not practical. The local repair joint suggested changing both every three months (they wish!) Once the belt and filter were changed the machine was back performing like a champ. We'll replace them every six months...
Summary: Good vacuum - But needs care

    Rating - 4 Date: 2008-12-28
Content: The most effective vacuum I've ever owned. But, then, my Kenmore canister, bought in 1966, likely will keep its title for longest running (and with no repairs other than duct tape) as it's still running. I've had the Hoover only a few weeks, but it is powerful, thorough in its pickup of everthing from cat hair to micro dust, and easy to operate. Like most canisters, it's a bit clunky to pull around -- and the weight that gives it substance makes that harder. Also, the one floor/rug head doesn't fit under some of my furniture. Still, these seem like minor problems in the trade-off for the good job it does. This model is bagless, which might not be an advantage -- cleaning the good-sized dirt cup and filter takes some time.
Summary: Excellent, if a little hard to maneuver
