Content: Okay folks... if I had a video I would record these stands so you can see them for yourself. But they look absolutely amazing. They were simple and easy to put together, though if you really care about covering the back to hide the cords then you might have some trouble. Im using M-Audio StudioPro 3's and they fit perfectly on the stand. The top part of the stand wont hold very large speakers, at least I would worry about putting them on there, but for the studio pro 3's they fit perfectly.

Overall, this is a great product for the money. They do a good job, and they look amazing. Definitely recommended.
    Summary: Not to shabby!

Content: These speaker stands work great-- i have them on wood floors (didn't use the spikes that came with it). They are just the perfect height I was looking for and are an improvement of having my speakers on the floor. I would recommend this product.

Content: Going from 5.1 to 7.1, I needed to get an extra pair of stands. I have a pair of 24" Sanus I bought 7 years ago for my B&W 601's and have been very pleased. I needed taller stands for the side surrounds and since these are basically the same as my 24" stands, this was the set I needed. However when I started reading reviews about the assembly and splitting of the stand I began to wonder what is so different, because I don't recall my 24" assembly being any problem. The reason I didn't recall is because assembly is indeed easy on this set. All you need a screw driver. People having problems with this are obviously doing something wrong. Assembly tips: Put the spikes in first, (I was able to do it by hand) Start the 4 screws in the bottom base (not all the way) but just enough so a little bit sticks out far enough to align them to the holes in the pillars, Align the pillar holes on top of the screws then hand tighten. repeat for the top. I had these stands assembled in minutes without any splitting or problems. They will hold a pair of B&W 656 just fine and for the Amazon price you can't beat it.
    Summary: Good Stand, Great Price
