Content: We bought this shredder for heavy duty use. Shortly thereafter, my spouse fed in some junk mail and encountered a jam. He was able to retrieve part of the envelope but could not otherwise free up the cutting blades. He called for support but did nothing further. When I returned home and looked at the part of the envelope that remained, I noticed that the word "nickel" was on the front of the envelope. He had tried to shred an envelope containing a nickel from a charity. We used a pliers to remove the nickel from between the blades and the shredder is continuing to work beautifully. As a bonus, we have a very unique nickel that has teeth marks on it.
