Customer Reviews Average rating - 3.5
Rating - 1 Date: 2008-10-22 Content: Used this radio one time on my motorcycle. It rained that day and the radio quit working Summary: Won't work in the rain
Rating - 4 Date: 2008-09-29 Content: I bought this for very occasional use when my fellow MG sports car club memebers are travelling together through the rural countryside, and one of us gets separated or has a mechanical problem. I didn't feel the use justified a significant investment, including having to buy an antennae that would require additional expense and be a hassle to install.
This CB worked fine using the cigarette lighter plug in, thus eliminating the need to buy 9 AAA batteries. (If I'd known that requirement, I probably would not have bought this unit--but as I said, it works without them--at least for me!) Summary: Pleasantly surprised
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-09-14 Content: More convient than mounted cb. the recharge it will do with batteries is very convient.
Summary: good
Rating - 2 Date: 2008-08-30 Content: This unit works well in open areas. But if you are inside a car or house, it won't transmit effectively. Summary: Midland Radio
Rating - 3 Date: 2008-07-31 Content: they look great but our two way GMRS radios get better range then the cbs Summary: ok for some things
