This attachment turns your KitchenAid stand mixer into a citrus juicer, eliminating the need for a second appliance that would take up valuable kitchen storage and counter space. Its four parts--heavy-duty aluminum shaft, reamer, shield, and strainer--are easy to assemble and attach to the stand mixer's powerful motor. Turn the mixer speed to level 6, and the reamer maintains a fast and steady spin. Press your fruit halves against it, and the juice pours out. You do have to exert a bit of pressure to extract all of the juice, but it's certainly not difficult to use. The strainer basket holds back the pulp and seeds as the juice flows into your pitcher. --Betsy Danheim

Content: I have used various hand and electric juicers in the past, and none has worked any better than this one. It is a bit noisy and the supplied pulp filter needs to be supplemented with a secondary filter after squeezing. This is more than offset by ease of use and cleaning.
If you already own/are planning on buying a kitchen aid stand mixer and you squeeze citrus, this is a very worthwhile investment.

Content: The Kitchen Aid mixer has all the power you need to extract juice from any citrus. The only minus is the verticle position causes some juice to run down your fingers.

Content: I have owned the stand mixer for twenty five years. Every addition I add has been a quality item, this one is no exception. It juices all citrus fruits perfectly and with little fuss. Even the largest grapefruit was easy to juice.
