Editorial Reviews Product Description: Black & Decker, White Citrus Juicer, Large Quart Sized Pitcher, Adjustable Pulp Control, Automatic Self Reversing Reamer With Stirrer, Small & Large Cones For Differing Sized Fruit, Easy Pour Spout, Strainer Separates Seeds From Juice Amazon.com Review: With a capacity of more than a quart (34 ounces), this electric juicer can prepare family-size portions with little operator effort. Large and small cones fit on the reamer to accommodate different-size fruits. The reamer automatically reverses itself to extract the maximum amount of juice, while a stirrer presses juice from the pulp in the strainer. Finally, there's an adjustable control that regulates how much pulp goes into the juice, a feature margarita fanciers will welcome. For storage, the cord wraps in a slot around the base, and a cover protects against dust. Hand wash this juicer in warm soapy water. --Fred Brack Editor's Choice:A great first juicer, or a good juicer for someone who doesn't juice every day, Black & Decker's CitrusMate Plus citrus juicer is our choice for best citrus juicer under $50. It will fit into every budget and still deliver lots of fresh juice. This juicer is extremely easy to use, as you just install the cone you want to use (it comes with two cones, making it adaptable for different sizes of fruit), plug it in, and press the fruit down into the cone. Then it goes to work automatically.

Rating - 2 Date: 2008-11-18 Content: I juice pretty much every day, about 2 grapefruits a day. I have had this juicer for less than a year and a few months after buying it, I am ready to trash it. In the beginning it worked fine but now whenever I try to use it, the motor catches and pauses frequently and makes a weird grinding noise before it will start rotating and juicing again. So it takes a long time to juice anything, and the noise is very irritating. I guess to get a truly durable product that works seamlessly, I will need to spend a lot more. I guess this is good if you are not into frequent/heavy juicing. Summary: Not very durable
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-10-26 Content: There is already lots of great descriptions in other reviews on what this juicer can do, so I just want to add that I am loving this juicer! No more paying $5/glass for fresh squeezed orange juice in restaurants. Definitely pays for itself quick! And so easy to use! Some people will probably be getting this from me for Christmas this year. :-) Summary: Love it! Great juicer!
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-10-24 Content: One of the few kitchen products that I'm totally happy with. It is very efficient, easy to clean and fairly priced. Summary: A great product!
Rating - 5 Date: 2008-10-24 Content: This Juicer is perfect, is not loud but will juice half a dozen oranges in no time. I love it and would buy one for everyone I know who wants a juicer Summary: Perfect juicer
Rating - 2 Date: 2008-10-22 Content: We purchased this juicer three years ago and the motor is powerful and good for the price, but the motor mechanism is finicky (doesn't always start promptly when you press down) and the plastic gears ground themselves up in three years. It was good in the meantime for juicing limes and oranges (two different juicing attachments) but cheap plastic gears inside sealed its fate in the end.
I'd repair it, but there is no customer support for internal components out of warranty, and it is not serviced by Black & Decker but by a third party kitchen company that also does George Foreman products and breadmakers. In the meantime, I'm hunting for a 1 cent, 40 tooth to 8 tooth reducing gear that ground itself down to 40 teeth to 1 tooth.
Good design, cheap plastic gears, Black and Decker in decoration only. Summary: Starts strong, wears out fast
